TXT and RXV are two different animals. TXT is true mechanical braking, RXV is mostly regen braking from controller to motor.

Billy mine is factory brake pedal.( aftermarket brake pads are available )
But as mentioned txt is different then the rxv. Txt lighting and brake lights are not connected to controller but a totally separate braking system and lighting system. I gave example of stand alone brake light circuit, not connected to controller so it activates based on controllers regen breaking It just close’s switch via pedal micro switch completing 12 volt source to brake light bulbs/filaments . Stand alone lighting circuit as you asked for FYI be very careful doing anything electrical to a rxv cart compared to a txt cart. Rxv’s are very sensitive to any type of mod as they are computer controlled. Reasearch on here is a wealth of info 😊 |
