Default New Solenoid Wiring need help

So I have a 1998 Ezgo txt PDS with an upgraded Alltrax controller. My solenoid has gone bad and I bought a new one that is set up different. The new one is a White Rodgers 200A 36V HD Solenoid (see photo). I'm having trouble with where to put the blue and yellow wire. I know solenoids don't have a "polarity", but I know that the yellow and blue go on certain sides depending on where the positive and negative are hooked up. I've searched for wiring diagrams and photos until I'm blue in the face, and I probably looked right past it.

Can you guys help? Thanks.

If you need more info or pics let me know.

Here is the old solenoid that failed. It would engage for about 5-10 seconds then let go. Not sure what happened to it.

Some solenoids are polarized, but the one you have isn't.

The coil studs are the smaller ones at 12 and 6 o'clock positions.
Connect the yellow wire to either and the blue wire to the other.

Connect the diode so the banded end connects to the yellow wire.

The high current cables connect to the larger studs at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions.
Connect the cable from the battery pack to either and the cable to the B+ terminal on the controller to the other.
Connect the diode so the banded end connects to the cable from the battery pack.

If it is a 1998 it isn't a PDS, it is a DCS.

Does the motor have a speed sensor?

Sorry, it’s a 2000+, it has the forward reverse switch on the dash.

You have a XCT controller, so the 250Ω resistor should be installed and a 6A - 660V diode needs to replace it, banded end facing the battery side B+ cable.

See attached schematic.

Looks okay other than that.

Ok. First question, it has a 250 ohm resistor installed across the big lugs (it’s at the top of the picture, hard to see). Is that not right?
