Default Does anyone prototype before they "make it happen?"

If you do prototype what material and tools do you use?

I just use crude drawings on my note 9 with the pen. And crazy thing like these large card board tubes.

Since my 2five is a 70's trans am, I thought I should make the rxv a 70's split bumper Camaro. I just love Monza's split bumper on street outlaws. It's gorgeous.

I'm not sure how mine will turn out. There is a local welder who helps me with my crazy ideas.

I think of things and use cardboard and poster board for mock up.

Nice job yurtle. And I like the way you can take those 4 screws out and get to everything.

Thanks. I used paper cutouts and glue stick. If everything were the same size it would have been just measurements. Since there were several different shapes, perfect symmetry isn't always the most aesthetically pleasing.

For all of the new fasteners, I like pure brass, not plated. I like the looks, unimportant here, but it's a pretty darned good conductor with great skin effect properties, so I always have a bunch lying around, and I like to have all of the slots up and down.
