Kernal, that’s very cool. Where did you get it?

Speed Hut (speedhut.com). Click on the "build your own gages" link.
Web site is very thorough. You can see and print installation instructions before you order if you want and they don't appear to be translated from another language. Font, colors, illumination etc are all customizable. Scale on this one is 0-40mph, perfect for golf cart.

Love this - how did you make the headliner? Been wanting to do that for a while

I opted to fabricate a new switch panel with backlit switches and include a switch specifically to turn on/off the panel lights in the event they are too obtrusive for the moment. Very happy with it so far.

You'll be glad you did this. Especially if you crawl around at night with all lights off. Even the radio on my roof mount console detracts from seeing when it's really dark. Everything else can be turned off.

Anyone ever put brake light kill switches on their cars? Me neither.

I'm thinking about illuminating the RXV on the side. Like an illuminated door sill.

I tried the illuminated switches first. Those little LEDs can be distracting. I finally opted for unlit switches and the small light over the switches that casts the light downward. Even then the light reflected off the silver toggles. I added the rubber water repellent toggle switch covers and all is well. Now there is no need for a dimmer or on/off switch for the backlit switches. The dash light comes on with the running lights.

The tach and gps speedo are backlit on their own but switched with the running lights switch.

If you want/need them, LED dimmers are dirt cheap. I have on on my headlights, to keep from blinding folks as I pull up to a camp fire.
