Mystery wire(s)
This is, what I believe to be a ‘90 marathon. Serial no 572986. Manufactures code A2190 36v Finally starting my winter project, in June. In this pic I have the white wire maybe 8 or 10 gauge with an end on it large enough to fit a battery terminal. Where might this guy go? It is connected to the back of the FNR selector. Second wire comes off the back of FNR selector probably 14-16 ga. It’s very short but I laid it across the white wire hoping that improves the visibility. Where might this little guy go? Last but not least in top left of picture I have a red wire with blue connector, not connected to anything, but is connected at other end to the “speed switch?” Right next to the solenoid, also 14-16 ga I’m estimating. Thank you in advance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Mystery wire(s)
This should be your schematic.
White wire comes off the F/R micro switch and goes to the next to last battery in line. |

Re: Mystery wire(s)
Thank you. I’ll print this out and tend to it shortly. I was hoping someone said, “It’s the reverse buzzer, leave it disconnected!”
So those are micro switches that are on the back of F/R selector? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Mystery wire(s)
It's a switch, so you could connect your DVM to it and see if it has continuity when closed and no continuity when open.

Re: Mystery wire(s)
10-4. Will do it. Tried testing solemoid yesterday and couldn’t find continuity anywhere. Would like to get all my loose wires addressed first then test again. probably still a bad solenoid I’m guessing.
Thank you |
