Default Am I good? 2015 Refurb RXV

Just bought from refurb dealer in South Carolina that specializes in RXVs

3" in lift. 205 60r14.

Set to freedom and goes 26 mph.

Besides 2 gauge wire, am I good or do I need to seek Bob.

What else can or should I do to maximize safety and perfornance?

With your cart lifted and running those tall tires you need a EZGO Curtis RXV 350amp controller.

If your running the standard 235amp controller it will last awhile but sooner or later it's going to bite the dust.

Start looking for a Curtis 1206AC-5360 350amp controller. When you get it pm Bob Boyce tell what you have and he'll take care of you.

Nice looking cart! Maybe some fender flares. But take usgicollector's advice and contemplate a heftier controller. Have fun with it now but if you load the cart up and start bombing around at the higher speeds you will smoke the stock controller over time. /For safety's sake, don't push the speed with that lift/wheel combo. Just not that stable.

Dealer said this is a 3 inch lift.

Does that look accurate?

I apologize for my ignorance. I did my research and decided a 2015 or 2016 non lifted RXV was what we were going to get. Just needed to find one that "spoke to" my wife.

Then we got to dealer and my better half saw this one.

We took it for a pretty thorough and good test ride. It didn't feel too tippy unless I was really trying to get it to feel uncomfortable.

Wife liked the speed, power and ride so contrary to my best laid plans, we brough it home.

Now I am trying to fight the feeling of buyer's remorse.

Can anyone cofirm the lift size and talk me off the cliff?

Thanks

Curious why you are so concerned about the lift size? If you like the way the cart looks and drives that’s all that matters.

Safety mostly. 10 and 8 year old boys who will be driving it in a few years.

But your point is well taken. Thanks.

Makes sense. To get those big of tires under it I would THINK it would have to be a 5” lift? But I could be wrong.
