bad boy hot wire and controller
I bought a used bbb last winter with an one year old set of battery world 12 volt batteries 8 of them. full charge it will go about two miles maybe. indicator light goes down as it should and then blinks before i have to start walking, the last two times i used it it would sort of stutter when put into gear just not smooth, today after a brief ride i could smell hot wire, etc. checked it out and found the wire to the passenger side solenoid was hot as was the solenoid, the passenger side controller was also warm. i bought a battery load tester and all are fair, none bad or very weak , all connections look and feel good no corrosion there are no service shops near does anyone have any idea what to look for another question can you swap controller locations and see if problems follows?
