Talking Over heating

Ever seen one this bad? Man this thing got way hot!

A friend called and asked if I could help them out with a over heated F/R switch. I said sure. Then she sent me the pictures! It will take a little more work but should be good as new in a few days! I told her I would have to get the F/R fixed before I could check anything else and hope they didn't fry anything other than the F/R.

Default Re: Over heating

Series 36V TXTs and Medalists are bad about burning/melting the F/N/R switch, especially if the car is used on a bunch of large hills, driven for miles, or lifted. I replaced two just this last week.

Doesn't damage controller, just keeps the car from going in one direction or both.
