2007 EZGO TXT Charging problem
Hello. I don’t know much about golf carts but I’m having an issue with my 36V. Just put new batteries in and the first one that connects to the positive terminal on the passenger side that starts the series does not charge. If I use a volt meter the other 5 batteries get up to 8.4V but that one only stays at around 6.2 volts. I have tried many solutions including getting a new battery. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Also my charger seems to be working but it will not shut off. It simply flashed green

Sounds like one battery is wired backwards.

Thank you for the reply. Prior to changing the batteries and based on my limited understanding of this all I took a ton of pictures to ensure that I wouldn’t do that. I have checked the pictures a hundred times it seems and it all seems ok to me.

Got to the advanced reply screen/window and use the paper clip to attach some pictures that show the six battery tops and seven cables, as they are now installed.

Re: 2007 EZGO TXT Charging problem
The white wire from charger port and fuse are connected to the wrong terminal on the front passenger side battery. Should be on same terminal as the red wire.
Your 36V charger is only charging 5 of the 6 batteries. |

Re: 2007 EZGO TXT Charging problem
Ok awesome. Are you referring to the wire that has that reed looking thing on it.

Picture #1. White wire from charging port. "Reed" looking thing is a fuse.
