Default Full Time on Charger?

My dealer said I should leave my 48v Bad Boy on the charger at all times when not being used. Is it a good idea to leave it on charge for 4-6 months straight when not used?

Many modern chargers have the ability to turn on and off, bulk charge or float charge as needed. If your dealer told you that, your charger is probably one of those. Tell us exactly what charger you have and someone should be able to confirm.

It’s a Eagle Series Dual Pro I-4818.

Hmmm. I'm not really familiar with those. While their web site does a decent explanation of the charging cycles, but stops just short of saying just exactly what their different units actually do. Maybe someone more familiar will chime in. Or you could call them during business hours and ask some questions.
If your dealer says they are fine, its probably all good, but I would check.

Do as Meimk suggest and call charger manufacture
Example my powerwise charger if left pluged in. Will start charging if voltage drops below 50 volts on my 48 volt pack.
