Default Curtis controller

Hey guys, quick question on a 2000 ezgo series. Controller has gave up the ghost, it’s a 3 bus bar and I have a 4 bus bar off a 1996 series cart, Will this controller work and if so how do I wire it? Thanks

Yes, I think you can just ignore the A2 terminal on the old controller and I think it will work.

If not, run a wire from the F/R switch terminal (I think it is the top one) that is connected to A2 on the motor over to the a2 terminal on the old controller.

There are several diagrams here posted by Johnnyb and Scotty that show and discuss this issue.

Just install the 4-bar exactly how the 3-bar is now. Pretend the 4th bar isn't even there. Itll work perfectly fine.

Thanks cgtech, I’m out of town at the moment I’ll get it changed as soon as I get home. I really appreciate it.
