I use these coil overs all the time on the carts I build. I build limo carts and hunting carts where there will be extra weight. The shocks do make the ride stiffer, but when extra weight is added it's not that bad. I always use the Jake's 6" spindle lift. In order to make them work I take a Porta-Band saw and remove the lower shock mounts from the axle. After this I bolt the lower shock mounts to the shocks and install them. With the lower shock mounts "floating" I set the ride height like I want it and mark the lower mounts. Then cut them off accordingly and re-weld them to the axle. I have pictures of this in some of my threads if you do a search.

I installed the same shocks. Just put my jack bar over the axle and under the leaf spring and push down. The shock will then fit

Making an edit. These springs put the steering sub assembly to the end of its spline. With big tires you run the risk of striping the spline or the assembly disconnecting over bumps. Based on my measurements it’s leaves about 1/4 to 1/2” connected of a 3 3/4” spline.
