EZGO TXT No Go Problem
Ok BGW techies, 04 TXT, not PDS and not sure if Series or DCS. Used it last night with lights on, came up a small hill, quit and rolled backwards to a stop. Batts seem ok (no testing equip avail right now) it will click in the controller box. Tightened up the nut for the selector, didn't help.
Curtis PMC P/N 25864G09 is on controller. Any other help? Had to go get gas EZ GO to pull it home, Vegas Carts 440 yanked it out and up incline like a BOSS. Thanks In Advance |

Re: EZGO TXT No Go Problem
That is a series controller, so you've got a 2004 TXT series.
The solenoid clicks, so it is a high current issue. Here is a schematic with the high current circuit traced, F/R selector in F. |

Re: EZGO TXT No Go Problem
JohnnieB, thanks! I just got thru checking each cable and found one that wiggled loose off the post in my hand! Went to shop, found some appropriate sized copper cable, beat down a piece of copper tubing, a wedged it on and it now moves again!
I didn't jack it up, as long as it got to moving again! I see a whole new set of battery cables coming for this. |

Re: EZGO TXT No Go Problem
M16er....you said you got some copper cable.....what type?? obviously you made a new cable, what you should use if you are making your own is welding cable of the appropriate size/gauge. and what did you do with the tubing? make a connector??

Re: EZGO TXT No Go Problem
The one that broke was real small ha wire. I found one larger wire, looked like battery ground strap I cut down and flattened a piece of copper tubing, drilled hole in it, and it's going.
Already looking at the whole replacement set with 4ga wire. |
