The wheelbase extension kit showed up today. It looks pretty solid. However, it requires cutting off the shock mounts from the a-arms. There is definitely a no-going-back aspect to the project. It makes me a little nervous because I'm not completely convinced that the longer wheelbase is going to achieve my goals. Does anybody have a spare set of DS a-arms that you've pulled off a cart when installing a lift that you'd want to send my way?

Did you get the extension installed and it give the desired results? I am to receive mine Tuesday and trying to do what you are doing. I want to put on 21-22" tires without lifting my 93 DS Club Car. Since I only run on golf course I would like to keep height close to original. I do not want to do a lift kit if I don't have to.

I have a 97 DS, install Jakes front extension to fit their disk brakes, my 22' (rear tires), I tried on the front as I was curious if they would fit without spacers. It cleared the height, but rubbed badly in the turns.

My .02 of experience.

Sounds like I will need spacers or stops to limit the amount of turn to use taller tires that I would like to use. I will know more next week.

I am very pleased with the looks and results of the extension kit without a lift kit. I actually have more turning clearance with my 12" tires and wheels than I did with stock setup. I think it even made the cart look better with the extension kit and stock tires and wheels.

Also very pleased with the staple on Up To Par seat covers. Fit great and great quality.
