Ausco Disc brake adjustment?
So i have had these brakes on my cart for about a year now and haven't driven it that much, I finally got to looking at it to see how i could adjust the brakes, looks like the only way to adjust is at the equalizer bar under the floorboard. That is where the problem starts. I have brand new cables on the cart so I know they arn't stretched out. I can adjust so one wheel is barely scrubbing while driving and the other you can still turn when parking brake is on. If i adjust any tighter it will be dragging on one side and the other side is loose. Has anyone else came across this issue and if so how did you fix the issue. I wish thay would have put an adjuster on each brake so you couls adjust them like the old drum brakes.

Re: Ausco Disc brake adjustment?
I forgot to mention they suck at stopping the cart with how it is adjusted. The only thing I can think if is welding a tab on the rod that the cable is attached to and somehow connect a threaded rod to the cable so i can adjust it that way.

Shims on the dragging side? I don't understand where you put shims and how that would help. I have the same issue as I just installed the disc kit on my club car. Does anyone know how you can work around and adjust brakes evenly on both sides for the disk brakes on the rear?
