EZGO DCS reverse microswitch

I had posted a message sometime back about my cart not going into reverse.

I have definitely determined it is the microswitch. Someone suggested just bending the little metal arm and that seemed to help, but it is back to not going far enough to engage the button on the switch.

So I ordered a new reverse microswitch...does the new one just snap on the metal plate and also can the old just be pried off with a flat head screw driver? I can't tell how the microswitch is actually held in place to the metal plate.

there are 2 small nuts and bolts holding it on

This switch is for a reverse microswitch for EZGO DCS cart.

Just purchased the switch and got it...

Looks like from the replacement switch just snaps directly into place.

Here is a photo of the back side of the switch.

I am thinking the old one will just pop out with a flat head screw driver.
