All or nothing
I replaced my old controller with a Alltrax 400. Reverse works fine. Starts gradually and builds up speed as I further depress the pedal. As you would expect. However, going forward is a different experience altogether. Upon depressing there pedal to barely the point of contact the cart bolts. Slamming me in the back of the seat and just about causing whiplash. It either wants to go full speed or stop. No graduation of speed. Very annoying to say the least. This is most prevalent in colder months. Does cold weather usually affect controllers like this?

You must have the setting on the controller set to "twin turbo". Just deselect that setting and select the one for " emulate ford pinto ".
Just adding some humor until one of the folks with real knowledge can jump in here. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: All or nothing
You will need to get a programming cable and adjust your "throttle up rate"
Here is a picture of the program - the one you need to edit is in the middle. http://www.alltraxinc.com/images/Con...en-Control.gif |

Re: All or nothing
the software comes from Alltrax:
http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_ControllerPro.html The cable you will need to order from where ever you can find one, I am unsure if ScottyB has them or not.... Might check with the list of site sponsors. But make sure you get one that is known to work, for some reason some cables don't work. Where I got my cable isn't a site sponsor, so it is frowned upon for pushing sales away from sponsors. |
