Default rxv scanner, where do you plug in?

I have a curtis scanner, but have never used it on a rxv.

Yesterday, i got a 2013 rxv, with a curtis controller. I don't see anywhere on the controller to plug it in? I don't have any type of adaptor that will fit into the run plug under the console??

Do i need a adaptor that plugs between the curtis scanner and the run plug?

I have a scanner for a danaher, that plugs directly into the run plug.

What am i missing?

The wires for the scanner port on a curtis rxv are usually zip-tied to the positive cable from the pack to the solenoid (4 wires in wire loom, round plug).

Yes, but unlike the pds, the key is only plugged in once to unlock then removed. Curtis RXV unlock key is available in two versions, unlocks 1 cart, or unlocks 20 carts, then the key is "used up".
