Default G22 transceiver...what is it!?!?

I have no idea where this part goes. It was just hanging in the battery area when I bought the cart. According to the wiring diagram it is a transceiver.

Does anyone know where it's supposed to mount or what it does?

No, its the port where the infrared eye hooks up for communication to the PDA and Yamaha software for reading battery warranty info, fault codes, and programming speed & regen. What you have is just the "dummy cap" to keep trash out.

Thanks again CGTECH!! I'll keep it tucked away.
