Non lifted wheels
I am wanting to get some new wheels for my cart without lifting it.
I see advertising on the internet showing the different rims, but very little what they look like on a golf cart. Anyone care to share pictures or their cart (non lifted) with their upgraded wheels. If you post a picture, can you include that type of wheels you have. I guess this is sort of show and tell... Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Non lifted wheels
I put a set of 205-65-10 with new alloy wheels on my 2007 (without lift). They are listed on the sidewall as 20.5 inches dia. and so far I have had no issues with rubbing. My operation is mostly on level paved roads. They ride good and are smooth and quiet. I'm very happy with the outcome so far. Cart is currently in FL and I am not so can't supply details, sorry. You can see them in my Avatar. RAY

Re: Non lifted wheels
These are 10" wheels. Tires are just a little over 17" tall.

Re: Non lifted wheels
205-50-10 which is 18" high, (stock wheel height). Excel golfproII tires which I like cuz they appear to fall between a street tire and atv, 4 ply. The rims are painted steel and I cannot remember who made them, they were a bit offset 3 X 5 I believe, very minor rubbing on bumps (probably need new shocks and springs). Were to do over, may be go with 12" rims and lower pro tires, ezgo supposed to be able to take up to 20", if sticking with 10, would look to 205-65-10. These were on sale (like clearance) for $329.
I also like the looks of suffolklou, I found something similar to these after I bought mine, they were more $$. Would definitely not go with 14", 12" may produce stiffer ride due to shorter sidewall height. May be the 12" folks could chime in re: stiffer ride. Last edited by lugster; 05-19-2016 at 11:06 AM.. Reason: changed 18" to 20" |
