Re: New to me cart and question about tires
In my opinion, and your intended use and the differing terrains you will encounter .....a SERIES drive cart, which is what you have, is the ticket you want and need.

Re: New to me cart and question about tires
Just ordered a SR48500 from ScottyB.
I'll order the remainder of the 48V upgrade parts next month and then I'll likely wait until spring to get the new batteries. I don't want to have a brand new set of batteries sitting outside through the winter. |

Re: New to me cart and question about tires
Shoot, I just noticed that my current wiring has 12V coming from two batteries. I think I would prefer the 48V -> 12V converter so I need to add that to my list of things to order.

Re: New to me cart and question about tires
You could just sell me your cart and save me the trouble of building one exactly like it. :)
Is there some way to identify the lift that I have? I'd almost like to keep the big wheels/tires and lower it a little closer to stock. |

Re: New to me cart and question about tires
Busted a tire tonight so trying to decide how to fix that. I could just replace the one tire. Or I could go ahead and switch to on-road tires that are a little smaller.
