Should I buy this limo cart?
I have an opportunity to buy a Star Limo cart pretty cheap ($500). However, it needs work. No motor, batteries, controller. Wheels are terrible and the seats need to be replaced.
I'm sure someone at BU is thinking YES! buy it! I wish is was a Club car or EZGO. I've worked on both and parts are everywhere. This... Just guessing but $500 to buy, $100 to pick it up, $600 wheels/ tires, $600 seats, $100 misc, $2000 motor/ controller/ batteries... I'd be in it for at least $4k, but it would be pretty new. Or do you spend the $2k converting it to run a gas B&S or something even more extreme (I've built a 2 stoke snow mobile powered cart)- maybe bike or ATV power. I'd sell it once complete but what would it be worth? $6k? Maybe? |
