wheel stud came loose!
I was finishing up installing a lift for my friends last night putting on the last tire on the left rear and the wheel stud feel inside the break drum. I finally got the break drum off and the found the wheel stud to be stripped out and will not press in. I pulled one out of one of my club car rear ends and the press fit is way to small. I plan on stopping at the auto parts store to check out there selection of wheel studs am I going to get lucky or am I going to have to buy a new stud or possibly a new break drum? This is a 1996 TXT?
Thanks Chad |

Re: wheel stud came loose!
My experience with striped wheel studs has been with trucks and trailers (not carts), but I would give the auto parts store a try first. If you end up having to order a "cart" stud the shipping could vary well cost more than the part.
