HD FNR Failure?

Guys - I've been going through hell with this cart - keep getting intermittent stops.

Jiggle a wire - it works again, go home, replace wire - works fine

Next day - stops

Jiggle another wire - works again, replace wire - works fine

Next day - stops

...... and so on

Everytime this happens the controller initiates enough to give the 4 green lights - solenoid clicks EVERY TIME - cart won't go forward or reverse.

Can my FNR be toast again? Do they get too hot at times and 'shut down' only to work again after cool down?

I am STUMPED

My '94 Medalist with an AXE 650A controller was doing the same thing this past summer, it ended up being the controller but you have to run all the diagnostic tests while the cart won't run, it took a while because every time it quit it would start running again while I was testing everything.
