club car ds resistor coil gear swap
I have someone that wants to do a high speed gear swap in a '98 resistor coil cart. Would this be something worth doing? My concern is that the extra gearing will put too much stress on the coils and burn them out. I have not had anyone ask to do this before and do not want to go through the time and effort if this is not a good idea. let me have some feedback to have a direction to go. thanks!

Re: club car ds resistor coil gear swap
Bad idea, specially if it has a VGlide.
You are correct on your thinking that the system will not last long with the extra current demand. |
