Re: Older club car trying to find a charger
I will post some better pics when I get home the guy I bought this from decided it was a "good" idea to convert to the 12v batteries wish he hadn't but oh well it's up to me to fix it now!

Re: Older club car trying to find a charger
I also got it pretty cheap so don't mind putting a little money into it if it's worth it.

And yes the roof is definitely a pain to get clubs past it was most definitely designed for a back seat.

Re: Older club car trying to find a charger
Here are a few more pics. I'm thinking to get it at least running at a lowish cost I might put 3 12v Trojans and replace the wires that look questionable until I figure out if it has any other issues. I'm open to any value engineering options anyone has to offer. This is my first cart, my next will most likely be a Yamaha ride Thanks in advance!

Re: Older club car trying to find a charger
Chevychasesmith, if the cart runs fine like you say it does put six 6 volt batteries in it and use it. Don't keep trying to use a 3x12 setup. Whatever type input you use from the charger does not matter on a cart like yours. Get the batteries and a 36 volt charger, that's all you need to do.

Re: Older club car trying to find a charger
i agree the 12v would be a waste of money ... they have a shorter run time
this is the wiring diagram for your cart i see the reverse buzzer in photo #1 the charger receptacle has been changed get rid of the wood check u bolts on rear lift , they are know to loosen over time |
