No 29 volts is not enough. You have a 36 volt car and 36 volt solenoids. Sounds like you have a battery problem. If your car didn't have a "charge lock" type charger receptical, you could have the charger on and I would bet the car would run. How old are the batteries? Have you checked each battery for voltage? You could have a bad battery, but that opens up a whole new thread. Good luck Dave

your pack at full charge should be around 39.6 volts,thats 6 batteries with 3 cells each the cells should be 2.2 volts at full charge for a total of 39.6 dead would be 36 volts
