Default gas smell and boiling while charging new batteries

its probably been discussed before but I just wanted to make sure if its normal to smell a odor while charging and to hear a boiling sound...new batteries btw.

will it go away??

But once your batteries are completely seasoned/broken in, they will not be as much as they will charge a little more efficiently. You are still breaking your in,

If there is nothing else wrong and there likely isn't they will indeed smell of rotten eggs and make bubbly sounds and that is completely normal the first couple of charges. Once broken in they usually settle down and cause no more foul odors...

Thanks, that's good to know! (my batteries are 2 weeks old)
When charging overnight, I had to open the window and set up 2 fans to clear out the odor.

You shouldn't be charging you batteries in a closed room.

be sure to fill your batteries just over the plates
overfilled batteries will gas off and spill acid on the floor
