Default 2006 Par car 48v questions

Hello ,

I picked up a project cart and when in forward you hear a faint beeping noise as if it was in reverse but not as loud.

When I put it in reverse it beeps loudly but will give you whip lash and runs very fast when you push the accelerator.

In forward motion it has no where near the speed or power than it does in reverse.

All battery voltage range from 6.2 to 6.5 voltd and its a 48 volt system.

Any ideas what might cause this erratic behavior?

Being a project cart hard to tell if any wiring has been changed over the last 10 years.

For speed, make sure motor is installed correctly. The F wires flip.
Motor A1 to Controller A1
Motor A2 to Controller A2
Field F1 to Controller F2
Field F2 to Controller F1

If the wires on the F's aren't swapped like they should be, it goes the opposite direction.

That aside, your battery voltage is fine.

The faint beeping can also be caused by moisture

Can you load a photo of the face of the controller and the motor wiring?

They are flipped because that's how the axle is mounted in the vehicles to provide room for the motor to be mounted.

That is not a 2006. Its a late 90’s or early 2000’s.

Your issue may be that controller, which is swrviceable with an Alltrax unit.

Check the 96-2000 service manual for troubleshooting and the oarts manual for wiring diagrams.

Thats what the seller told me , go figure it would be something different.

something weird is going on , drove it today a couple of times . took off strong then falls on its face. Now nothing happens when you switch the key in forward or reverse .
