Default Bent & Twisted

We are trying to straighten the frame on a 2003 ds. I searched and read and tried to apply what I learned. Yes I know it will never be the same but it will be good enough, I hope. can some one tell me what the measurement is on center for the bumper bolt holes.

I will try to help. Not sure what your question is.

Is the frame diamoned, or is it up and down, or both?

Do you see what I'm asking? Has the cart's frame been changed from a rectangle to a parallelogram? As in being hit hard on one side or the other at the front or back. This would create a situation we racecar guys call a frame that has been "diamoned" a parallelogram. If so, the distance between the 2 mainframe sections (the width) of the frame has changed.

As far as where you are holding the tape, and that rear crossmember is not bent, the center would be exactly 1/2 of your measurement.

I think what he is asking is, what is the measurement between the bumper bolt holes, on center meaning from the center of hole to center of hole.

Yes that's the question. I have the broken weld lined up and have straighten the cross member and the right spring hanger. I don't knowwhat it should be but I am at 26 inches now.

If there for the bumper ? you can just measure the actual bumper itself holes C-C ? .

Looks like 26 and 1/8 to me. And that is center to center. Not hooking the tape the way you have it. (at least it appears hooked in the photo)

Mooncarter that's what I was looking for. Based on your first response I picture your shop as well kept and all your work done right. Spent the last two days with the grand kids, hope to get it welded tomorrow.

EZHO no bumper to measure

Thanks for the help
