Smart Charger question
Yewy 1200z instruction are not real clear.
So charge is complete when the green light is solid. Screen information shows FLOAT. Instructions state when charge is complete to turn off the charger and unplug AC first then unplug DC. So I thought you could just leave the charger plugged in all week in float mode. Can I or is that a bad thing? Can we just turn it off with the on/off switch then unplug the DC when we want to use the cart? Thanks |

Re: Smart Charger question
Found the answer on Cartsunlimited.net
"The FLOAT stage is where the charge voltage is reduced to between 13.0 VDC and 13.8 VDC and held constant, while the current is reduced to less than 1% of battery capacity. This mode can be used to maintain a fully charged battery indefinitely." |
