1987 36-volt Club Car - Charger or Battery issue
I have a 1987 Club Car that has 3 12-volt batteries. It uses 5 solenoids. I have an Accu-Power charger that has worked fine for the last 3 years. Now, when I plug it in, it hardly moves off Zero. I recently replaced all 5 solenoid, so it seems ironic that it started acting up right after I replaced those.
At the end of last year, my son ran the cart with the water low in the batteries. Then, one of them exploded (because of a spark, according to the local shop) so we replaced one of them, but I suppose the other two could need to be replaced. Again, it seems ironic/coincidental that the issue started right after replacing the 5 solenoids. I don't know what I should do next, so any input is much appreciated. |
