Default Bubbling batteries

I've got a new setup. 6- 8v batteries. I've been monitoring the charging cycle heavily because I have wired in a new charging receptacle, and I don't totally trust I've done it correctly. On the first attempt the slow blink on the qe powerwise never changed. The batteries reached 50.2v. I took it off charge and figured something was wrong with my wiring because the slow blink didn't change.

I ran the cart, and tonight I went to charge it again. After about an hour I started to get the fast blink, so I thought maybe everything is normal and I pulled the charger a little premature yesterday. I let it run hoping to get a solid light, and checking it regularly. The blinks seemed to get progressively faster, but I noticed the batteries were starting to sound like they might be boiling. I pulled the charger, and the voltage read 58.7.

Is this boiling sound normal? I know it's normal to get higher than 48v at full charge, but I don't want to ruin my Pack.

Keep in mind there is a difference boiling and bubbling... Bubbling is a sign that your batteries are actively accepting their charge and that's a good. Boiling on the other hand involves heat and lots of it. Are the batteries hot to the touch? They should never be more than merely warm to the touch. Your charger will likely switch over somewhere around 61 to 63 volt range...

New batteries often that quite a bit of charging before they are fully charged. And even once fully charged you should hear lots of quite percolation/bubbling sounds while on the charger.
