No forward or reverse now what?
Recently upgraded my 94DS solid state vglide SR48500 kit and noticed my forward and reverse was intermittently working and now it wont work at all.
Not sure where to start, any ideas appreciated. update: still intermitent, altrax software shows throttle move from controller, lifted cart off ground and F/R works fine. |

If the F/R switch works fine with no load but doesn’t work under load then it has failed and needs to be replaced. You may notice that when it does work it will get hot. HTH

Try this - tighten down the center pivot nut B shown in the attachment 1/4, then 1/2 turn to see if that fixes any contact issue.

Sorry, tighten for more contact pressure 1/4 - 1/2 turn.

Just took it apart and my HD F/R switch does not have a threaded shaft, its held front and back by pins.

Do you have your old switch? Can you install it temporarily and return the switch to me?
