Yes got carried contactor from Scotty B. He says a coil is bad. Have new one on the way. It should be here by Tuesday. I left it on once when I charged the cart. Got hot as crap. I think that’s when my troubles started

I just learned something I hadn't considered before. Don't charge batteries in a series cart with a reversing contactor installed while key is on and F or R is selected.

If you do, the solenoid coils that are energized will get overvolted by 33% or more, which might burn them out and there is the possibility of starting a fire.

I got new reversing contactor yesterday from Scottyb. Installed it and cart ran perfectly. Go out this afternoon and it won’t move. I noticed now the solid light on the controller stays green and doesn’t go to amber at WOT

I’m at wits end

Measure the throttle voltage between the black and white wires on top of the AXE controller. Should be 10V pedal up and 6V pedal down.

The new ITS sensor from Amazon might be bad.

Also check voltage between the AXE's B- and M- terminals as explained in my post#10

Got pack voltage between b- and m- between black and white I get 9.06 and 5.10 at full throttle

I'm not sure what the minimum voltage level is for WOT with an AXE, but the cart ought to run okay at less than fully depressed pedal, so it probably isn't a throttle issue.

What does the voltage between B- and M- do when pedal is pushed?
It ought to decrease all the way down to nearly zero as pedal is pushed.

If it stays at pack voltage, the controller is probably bad.
If it drops, the motor is bad, or the cables to the motor are bad.

With no throttle between m- and b- the voltage is 35.53. At WOT the voltage is 39.78. Same as pack voltage

If the throttle input voltages to the controller is good and the controller's output (B- to M-) isn't, the controller is bad.

I'm not sure if the WOT voltage is going too low, (5.1V instead of 6.0V) but the controller isn't flashing any RED errors (LED staying green), so I'm pretty sure the controller isn't doing what is being told to do.

I'd contact Alltrax and ask if 9.06V to 5.10V is in the AXE's usable range.

If it is, replace the AXE with a SR48400 or larger and enjoy a much better controller.
