As we were loading it he mentions that the batteries didn't even have a cycle on them, and that when he plugged the charger in, (Lestronic II) it didn't start a charge cycle. Hmmmm, red flag. Today I start troubleshooting. 0v at charge port. NADA. Remove seat and check cables. The battery by the key (A) had both the charge port cables hooked to it, so it's a good thing the charger didn't read enough voltage to start. (B) The cable on the same battery that SHOULD have went from that battery positive to feed 36v positive to the solenoid was hooked to the negative instead. Batteries liquid (notice I didn't say ACID) tests out to be . . . Dasani . . . A couple batteries show slight bulging, but none really bad or leaking. Sooooo, looks like I need to start breaking the batteries into pairs and trying to get them to accept a charge. I have a 2/30/200amp Schumaker. one of the "smart" 15amp Schumakers with the de-sulphate cycle, and a vintage Sears 10amp to chose from. Pretty sure I have a spare mower battery if I need to fool the charger. Wish me luck.

Duracell offers a 12 month warranty. Can't hurt to check.

By the way which Duracell are they?

I looked at Duracells locally and they said warranty starts from date of purchase, not stamping.

What amperage?

No warranty is available. The GC2 is rated at 215 for the 20 a/h rate. Looks like it is a re-badged Deka GC-10.
