Default 2020 Onward HP AC Drive

Dealer set the cart to the highest speed he can without voiding the warranty. DO any of yall know of away to speed this cart up? Not concerned about the warranty.

AC Club Cars are new, so I'm not sure what aftermarket solutions you would have short of replacing both the AC Motor and controller with an aftermarket solution. You could probably also go DC for that matter. I wanted a faster AC cart so decided to get a "standard" (non AC) Onward but ripped out the motor / controller / batteries and replaced.

The non AC carts can be sped up with just an aftermarket motor, or just a controller, or sped up more by replacing both. It's just that the factory AC system is new so I'm not sure if you can replace just one or the other right now since the current controllers or motors may not play nicely with an aftermarket part connected to it (motor or controller). I'm just not sure though.

Another thing to consider is (AFAIK, at least on the AC factory lithium Onwards - may not be the case on non-lithium AC carts) the gear ratio is different from the DC carts (lower cart speed for given motor RPM, but better accel / torque for a given amount of HP at the motor). Higher speeds, however you might achieve them, will be somewhat less high with these gears -vs- the standard Club Car gears. If you are into wheelies or have steep hills, you'll probably be in good shape though.
