this stuff is great you can even make threaded holes that hold better than nuts my 3m rep gave me a sample and I would recomend over fiberglass its just a little pricey

OK I went and got my "Bondo" fiberglass repair kit from the local auto parts store It came w/ everything. Now should I use 2 layers of fiberglass on the back side(In the fenderwell) or will 1 layer be strong enough?
Any other tips on useing this would be great!!!!!

I would use 3 layers on the rear. Just be sure to do good prep work and DO NOT mix your resin too hot. I learned that the hard way...

The kit that I got came w/ 1 bottle of resin and 1 small tube of hardner. It says to use 12-14 drops of hardner to 1 oz of resin.....should I use less hardner than that??

Use the 12 rather than the 14. You could even use 10. I know that with my first few times, I wanted all the time I could have to adjust and fix and situate and all that good stuff.

Once the hardener starts to turn to a jelly-like substance, throw it out and make new. It is no good any longer.

I'm located east of Kansas City on I-70 at mile marker 24.

OK - thanks! I'll try the 10 if I don't locate a cowl.
