How do you tell the year
Hi guys, I am looking to buy a yamaha but the guy doesn't know what year it is how can I determine the year and model. Buying this to fix up for an older handicapped gentleman to get around his farm. Thanks for the help.

I just inherited a G1 Yamaha gas. Serial No. J10-020968..I believe it's either a 1981 or 1982. please help. Thanks
