Default Adding Golf Bag rack to our Zone Cars

Is anyone else planning to add a golf bag holder to their cars when they get them?

I am thinking that I have little use for the second seat but I sure could find a use for a couple of bags back there... My visions is driving my cart to work, ditching out early and going directly to and on the course for an afternoon round.

How easy will this be to convert? I have the premium so maybe I coudl sell off the special fold down seat?

Would you imagine a removal of the back seat and stand and do it traditional or is there a bag holder that would hook on that back hand hold peice and allow you to keep the 4 seats?

Any ideas?

I'm definitely going to figure out a way to carry clubs on mine. Not sure how extravagant I'm going to get though. Might just fold the seat down and strap the bags to the cart with some cinch straps.

I don't golf, but couldn't you just strap the bag to the safety hand rail that's already there? I've seen the bag holder that's specially made to fit on that hand rail, but it seemed awfully expensive.

I'm planning to add a Golf Bag rack. I've been looking around and found this one that that I really like: http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/product.asp?sku=17706

But, I'm not sure it will fit on the back handle bar of our Zone as it may conflict with the license plate frame and what looks like a horizontal cross member bar in middle. This is why we need some of these golf cart shop guys to take a look at a Zone to see what kind of accessories they can make work for us.

Two golf bags fit real well on the 6-seater. Just strap them to either side of that hand-hold/plate bracket device. Plenty of clearance to remove clubs from the bag without hitting the roof with a little rear tilt added to the bag. Added bonus - no bag umbrella/cover needed when the rain sneaks in on ya.

I posted this awhile ago on another thread, you can take a clubcar bag holder and bolt it to your safety bar on your rear step plate works great have done a few. If there is anyone in your area that works on golf cars they will have plenty lying around. When you put a backseat on all that stuff comes off.

It's a fairly easy item to build yourself. We have 3 or 4 different designs that we make - it all depends on the rear grab bar and / or the rear step plate

I would give some of the site sponsors that help support this great forum a try before going to one of the "other" suppliers.

Understand. I linked to show a photo of a good bag rack concept and even stated that particular one likely wouldn't fit a Zone. My apologies to any sponsors who were offended, but I also stated "This is why we need some of these golf cart shop guys to take a look at a Zone to see what kind of accessories they can make work for us." I'd really like to see this site's sponsors carry a full line of parts and accessories for our Zones.
