Default PDS cart with Alltrax DCX400

I am thinking about ordering a Alltrax DCX400. What kind of improvement would I see?
Right now I have a stock controller with a freedom chip, stock motor, and stock wheel height. On a gps I can get going around 18-19 mph. I would like to be able to get going 21mph +. Is this achievable with a controller upgrade. I have no plans too lift or add bigger tires.
If I added 8:1 gears would this help? Thanks in advance

It would help your top end speed but you would loose torque

Controller will give you speed and torque. KEEP the stock gears! Changing them (gears) will get more speed at the expense of torque...

what kind of speed would I get with just the controller upgrade.
Is it going to put a lot of stress on the stock motor?

A couple miles an hour. A lifted cart will hit 22 / 23 with the 400 amp controller. Don't forget the 4 gauge wires...

Stock motor will be fine...

not sure your going to gain speed by putting a larger controller in the cart .... you will definately gain torque..speed is usually gain by tire and rim swap...
