I just used a good set of tin snips...slower but good control and cuts the plastic easily.

I just did mine...Drilled a couple holes in the corners and with a pair of shop gloves, I just used a hacksaw blade. Worked great!

I used a rotozip on mine. good control and able to turn without twisting the blade/wheel problems in the corners. My $0.02 anyway.

I tend to have it on a higher speed, when it is set a a slower speed the bit tends to wander, when it is faster it cuts smoother, I use the dry wall bit, works great.

I installed 3 light kits in 2 days on 05-06 ezgo pds carts. By the last one I just used a razor knife. Marked the area, scored it with the knife and then followed the line around pushing harder. It was much easier with the razor knife than anything else. I had many other devices to choose from.
