Default project huntinhauler

i'm pretty new to the site, mostly just asking advice questions, so i am officailly making a thread to follow the progress of my build.

i started off with an ezgo series txt. everything worked on the cart, but the batteries were about shot and the previous owner didn't have the funds to get new ones. total cart price $500

by the next afternoon, i had it stripped down and up on stands ready for upgrades. lift kit, motor, controller, solenoid

[IMG][/IMG]...

there was time in between shopping for new parts and waiting for them to get here, so i took a couple days and worked on putting some camo on the cart. this will be a huntin cart so i put forth an effort at some camo. i think it looks better in person than in pictures

i also had this fabric laying around, so i wrapped my seats with it

[IMG][/IMG]

and yesterday i made some 4ga cables for the whole cart. prices are through the roof on these things, so making my own sounded like a fun project.

thats where i stand for now. everything else is ordered, i am just waiting for parts. i should be complete in about two weeks. i can't wait to see how this thing will turn out. i will update progress on this thread.

That's a nice start. What else are you going to add to it?

Nice build you got going here--

Does your cart have a metal body ????

I think your cart is a medalist not a TXT--

I double checked parts. All is good. Everything is interchangeable. As for the camo, I sprayed everything green. Then made a few templates for the dark browns and tans and sprayed them. After that, I made a larger template for the black and sprayed it over top everything else. I put the lift on today, sweet, and everything else comes next week. Tires, wheels, motor(torque) , 500 amp controller, and HD solenoid.

I have heard the f&r switch is pretty durable. Should I upgrade that also?
