No Go
I think the spline got stripped on my 91 marathon, I am looking for easiest way to figure out if it is that or something else. When you press the gas you can hear the motor turn but the cart doesnt move. Any help please.

Re: No Go
Get some one to drive it and observe the hubs to see if they are spinning.

Re: No Go
I agree with Dooms, sounds like a spun hub.

Re: No Go
Please think about what you just asked
If its on the right its the passenger on the left drivers side. |

Re: No Go
LOL, I got that. I meant how do I know which hub is spun. Do I just need to jack up the whole rear end and see if either one spins?

Leave on the ground and hit the juice the axle will spin
the wheel won't. |

Re: No Go
Ok did that, you can hear the motor spin but have no idea if axle is turning or not. The rear end sort of shakes when you apply the gas. But no wheel movement at all.

Re: No Go
All you need to do is remove the hub cap if you have one and ask somebody to push the gas while you watch the axle nut go round the one that moves is stripped and the other might not be far behind..... we replace pairs for that reason... remember to torque the axle nut to 85-100 ft pds
