Default Light Kit for G29?

When shopping for a headlight kit for my Yamaha Drive G29, do other models fit or does it have to be one specifically for the G29?

Also does the same go for Flip seats, lift kits?

Can't seem to find many accessories for the G29.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

There's all kind of accessories for "The Drive"/G29. Yamaha dealers and site sponsors carry them. Be shure to get a light kit with a voltage reducer for your electric car. Search and pull out the visa card

do you need a voltage reducer on a 48v system?

at 6:39 madjax mentions not needing one...

I'm a newbie with his first electric cart...

No, the light kit I just put on my G29 does not require a voltage reducer. The way it is supposed to be run is off one of the 4 12v batteries. I use an accessory battery because I do not like to draw off of the battery pack. You can fit a good battery in the center between your 12v batteries under the seat.

I put a voltage reducer on mine. Found a cheap 10 amp on on Amazon. I installed an LED kit that only draws 2.5 amps. We'll see how it holds up.
If you run off of only 1 of your batteries, it will create an unbalance to the set.
If you install a sep batt for the lights, you will have to charge it seperately.

Take a look at my review for the LiTESeasy all LED light kit. It is a universal kit and should fit your cart. You can check with Joe at Tecscan to be sure. He is very helpful.
