Default cart help please

1998 36 volt electric non DCS
sometimes cart would not go, slam the foot feet 2 or 3 times and away you go
so took some advice and changed the Micro swith in box below your feet, but it did it again so what is next
solinoid does not click when it does,nt go
went thru all connections
only thing i did not check was the ignition key
so do i change the solinoid or what
can't be a bad spot in electric motor because solinoid does not click

thanks Mike

This circuit has NO EFFECT on the charge circuit.

Owner's, Parts, and Service Manuals:

If I understand your symptoms, it could be that your new micro needs adjusting. The adjustments aren't the actual micro, but you get the point.

Also, to eliminate as many variables as possible, next time it doesn't go, try "gently" pushing the pedal repeatedly, and see if it goes. If you "slam" it, you run the risk of shaking something else that may be loose.

Finally, I don't know the model of your cart, but with mine, there was a 4 prong MOLEX connector that is located just behind the FNR, that connects the ITS and micro to the wiring harness. If yours has one, try to unplug, spray with cleaner, then replug, and see if that helps.
