Default amd 7126 raptor or 7122

I know 2 guys on here are running the raptor motor. I like that motor all the specs look real nice. Thinking about going with the amd 7122 motor though. 4hp at 4400 rpms. Not sure what the peak hp is on it. Any suggestions would be great.

I didn't even know the motor in my sig was a called a "Rapter" until someone told me. I just wanted the fastest rpm I could find, and am happy with it.

No bites, but it will outrun anything in the 'hood, besides a big-block gasser, which we don't have around here.

how is it power wise. the 7122 spins 4400 rpms at 4 hp. raptor 5300 at 6.1 hp. specs say with stock controller upgraded cable the 7122 you can get 20 mph. that speed is good for what i use it for but and i know its a trade off speed or power but i want more power to so trying to find a happy medium.

Maybe a 454 is what you need?

Do you have steep hills or carry several heavy people? If not, the smaller Hp motor will probably be just fine. My motor needs bigger cables, FNR, controller, etc.
