Bring the cart into your bathroom. Stand on your scale without any clothes on. Then, get dressed and weigh yourself. Then, pick up the cart and step on the scale. Subtract your weight without any clothes on from the weight fully clothed and holding the cart.

Estimate the weight of your clothes and subtract from above.

They were picky and the forms I filled out were all wrong, luckily the girl at the counter was very nice and printed new forms and held my hand while filling them out correctly. I had put down the serial number of the cart, the year etc on the forms which was incorrect. Now my cart will be a 2014 so the forms with that info had to be redone. I now have a date to get it inspected, she told me the cart would be failed if I did not have a sticker on the windshield stating that It went over 20 but not over 25mph. I read here one other guy had the same issue and printed the sticker himself so I am going to find that thread and print one up and stick it on prior to inspection.

its a 2008 EZGO 2+2 36v it weighed out at 1260 lb.
