Unhappy Rear shock help

Putting a lift in my yamaha drive. Front was easy. Accidentally took the bottom bolt out of rear shock now it's binding and I can get it back In. Top ones (that you are supposed to remove) are both stuck too. Everything slid down and I can't get anything out. Help. Don't know how to get weight off of the cart to get that bottom bolt back in and can't get top bolts out either

Jack the cart up and put jackstands on each side of the rockers (where there is metal) and let the cart back down on them. Then put the floor jack under the transaxle which will allow you to move the engine and the shocks up and down without the rest of the cart moving. Text me of call me and i can try to explain better tomorrow morning.

Refresh forgot you have an electric cart. You should be able to jack the cart up and place jackstands underneath the battery trays or something sturdy and let the cart down on jackstands or even the stock wheels and tires if you dont have stands. The weight of the cart will now be on the stands. Now you should be able to put the jack underneath the transaxle and be able to raise the rear axle along with the shocks up and down to line up the holes.

Also on youtube jakes does some 3" and 6" installs on gas yamaha g29 but the same install would be similar to your electric.

I got it figured out but I ruined one of the stock shock bolts the threads were all messed up. I replaced it with a heavy duty bolt I had in my tool chest. Finished it up about 2 am.
