Default Re: ezgo txt shock tabs.

I had time to pull out a tape and take some measurements yesterday. Both shock tabs are exactly 22"s from the ground (lowest point center of tab). I did influence the left tab (the one that was in question) some to get it to the 22" mark. She was closer to 21 5/8" Front axle is exactly 16"s left, right, and center....I didn't measure anything on the body of the cart. Will wait until I get the new shocks in for that.

So I put the HD Coil Shocks on the front of the cart. Didn't really bend any of the tabs. Just the left one a tiny bit and didn't touch the right one. It came out close to level so that did the trick. But now I have a different problem. The front is now higher than the back!! Do you think putting a set of HD coil overs one the back will lift the back some?? Cart already has HD leaf springs. Any help is appreciated. Does a 2007 ezgo txt use the same spring for front and rear are they sized different?

The front and rear springs are completely different in design. The coil-overs may help the rear,it depends on the installed length. If they are heavy enough and tall enough, they may compensate for the difference.Keep in mind, you already have the HD rear-springs,so it may not come up.How much weight is on the rear(seat,dump-box,etc...),or is it bare? That will also affect the height.Hope this helps.
